Twitchell's TEXTILENE® brand of fluorescent safety fabric is flexible, breathable, and mildew resistant. Great strength and durability, along with high color visibility make these fabrics ideal for use in safety applications including: vests, flags, and highway signage. TEXTILENE fluorescent knits, when combined with the proper amounts of retro-reflective tape, as stated in Section 5.2 of the ANSI 107-1999, does pass under combined performance as a class 1 garment. Heat weldability and availability in a variety of custom colors make these versatile, lightweight fabrics excellent for use in a variety of other applications including: bags, covers bindings and barriers.
