Located just 16 miles north of Florida, there is a town that is truly one-of-a-kind. That town is Dothan, Alabama and within it lies something for everyone. Whether it be restaurants, shopping, art, or music, Dothan has it all. When visiting this city, you’re sure to find history, fun, and peanuts around every corner. That’s right peanuts! Did you know that about half of the United State’s peanuts come from within a 100-mile radius of Dothan? To celebrate this fact (and have a little fun), Dothan installed a whopping 31 peanut characters all over town. The peanuts have a variety of meanings, occupations, and outfits, sure to make you do a double take. The peanuts are just one example of the little surprises that Dothan has in store for you on your next trip.
After you’ve taken a tour to see the Dothan Peanuts, be sure to stop by the World’s Smallest City Block, but don’t blink! You might miss it. Afterward, check out the murals that paint the history of Dothan all around town. You’ll find beautiful paintings dedicated to Ray Charles, Johnny Mack Brown, and Sherman Rose, one of the Tuskegee Airmen. Don’t forget to stop by The Salute to the Peanut Industry mural, Dothan’s first and largest historical painting. After you take in all the incredible art the city has to offer, find your inner zen at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens. You’ll love strolling through the lush gardens and be sure to bring a padlock to fasten on the Lock Gate! For your last stop, you’ll be nearing happy hour, so it’s the perfect chance to visit Dothan’s microbrewery, Folklore Brewing & Meadery. Grab a beer, wind down, and maybe play a game of human Foosball while you’re there.

Twitchell Develops Revolutionary Fabric
New Textilene® Nano 95 Fabric Lighter and Finer Than Original
TwitchellTM announces the release of a brand new line of screening fabric, Textilene® Nano 95. Textilene® Nano 95 is lighter and finer than the original Textilene® 95 fabric, all while maintaining the same technical properties.
Textilene® Nano 95 is excellent for a variety of uses and can reduce energy costs all while blocking up to 95 percent of the sun’s harmful rays. It is 20 percent thinner and has over 15 percent less elongation than competitive fabrics. Textilene® Nano 95 is available in 96 inch and 120 inch widths and is produced in 10 unique colors including Black, White, Espresso, Bone, Shadow, Charcoal, Granite Tobacco, Sable and Stone.
Twitchell’s Textilene is an excellent addition to any space, even those you wouldn’t think of at first. Britten Graphics just completed their first project using the Facid North America System. They used the system to cover the JP Morgan Chase employee parking garage in Plano, Texas with a Twitchell Textilene 90 mesh 120” in the color ‘Desert Sand’.
The choice to use Twitchell’s Textilene for the parking garage covering was easy, because when they compared other alternatives to Twitchell, no one compared. The thickness, overall structural integrity, and strength of the material was a winner, right from the start. The material was relatively easy to install, due to its plyable makeup, and has served its purpose well since the install.
JP Morgan Chase wanted to cover the side of the parking garage that faces their offices across the street, so they wouldn’t be forced to have a view of an open parking garage. Now, their view is improved and sure to last with Twitchell’s Textilene mesh.
